In this training you will deepen your knowledge and learn how to make decisions based on business value, real options, and cost of delay. Bring work on a product in line with its life cycle and use data to validate hypotheses.

As product owner you are responsible for bringing your product to success. Every day you work with different people: your CEO, your development team, and your clients. You already know many tools that help you in this.

In this training course different formats are used: lectures, discussions and exercises. In order to facilitate the transfer into your everyday work, the interactive proportion constitutes over 70% of the training time.

On-site The training course lasts 3 days. It begins at 9 a.m. and finishes at 5 p.m. on each day. Remote The training course lasts 3 days. It can be split up over more than 3 days. For further details see the available dates.

Certification

At the end of the training course you have the option to take an exam in order to become certified as an Advanced Product Owner according to the standardized curriculum of the nextnormal.academy. The exam is set by an independent examination institute. The costs of the exam is not included in the price of the training course. The costs of the exam can however be included in our invoice. You then receive a voucher for an exam with the examination institute iSQI.

Gerrit has been working full-time in IT since 1998, with agile methods since 2001 and enjoys building bridges between software architecture and organizations. He has founded three companies and has been responsible for large projects as a software architect and consultant.

In addition to a degree in computer science, he also has a Master’s degree in Software Product Engineering and an MBA in General Management. He likes to combine his software architecture knowledge with insights from psychology and sociology.

Gerrit has been an active member of the iSAQB e.V. since 2011 and is accredited as a trainer for CPSA-Foundation and CPSA-A Domain-driven Design and as an examiner for the Advanced Level. Since 2008, he has been teaching software quality in the Master’s program at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau.
